New Sandbox Refresh Options
Each of your sandbox accounts can now be refreshed from either your production account or another sandbox account. The account where the data is copied from is referred to as the source account. Refreshing a sandbox account copies all configurations, data, user passwords, and customizations from the source account into the sandbox account. You cannot copy data from the following types of accounts:
- The sandbox account you are trying to refresh
- Sandbox accounts not associated with your production account
- Sandbox accounts with expired licenses
- Sandbox accounts that are inactive Note: Source accounts that are actively being used as a refresh source will be disabled in the dropdown list until the refresh completes. For more information, see the help topic Refreshing Sandbox Accounts.
Support for New Customer-Scheduled Maintenance
You can now reschedule an increasing number of maintenance activities using the Customer-Scheduled Maintenance page, including certain routine maintenance and the Account Move to OCI. To learn more about Customer-Scheduled Maintenance, see the help topic Customer-Scheduled Maintenance. Change Core Administration Permissions Feature Enabled by
Default
By default, the Core Administration Permissions feature is now enabled on all accounts. Core
Administration Permissions is a feature that can be enabled for a role and gives the role access to
a functionality that is currently only accessible to the standard Administrator role. You can use Core
Administration Permissions to customize a role so that it behaves almost like the Administrator role, while
also restricting access to other areas of NetSuite using role permissions and restrictions. You can assign Core Administration Permissions to any role, by checking the Core Administration Permissions box. For more information, see the help topic Core Administration Permissions.
