Personal Information Removal Enhancements for
Addresses
To streamline the process of Personal Information (PI) Removal for addresses and to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other regulations, the following enhancements are available in the PI Removal feature:
- Previously, to anonymize information about addresses, you had to select multiple fields: Shipping
Address Country, Override, Shipping Address State, Shipping Address Zip Code, Shipping Address
is Residential, Billing Address is Residential, Ship To, Shipping Address, Vendor, and Billing Address.
Now, to select all of the corresponding address fields, you can select the Shipping Address and Billing
Address fields. To remove personal information from an address, select the field for each address type. Note: If you copy PI removal requests, edit your requests to remove unavailable fields. Also, if you have a script that uses a removed address field, you must adjust the script to use the correct field (for example, Billing Address or Shipping Address).
- You can no longer create PI removal requests for address fields that are needed for tax and shipping calculations, such as Country, Subdivision, Postal Code, and City. These fields do not contain any personal information, but your company may need them for future financial audits.
- You can now create PI removal requests for addresses used in transactions from closed accounting periods. For more information about the PI Removal feature, see the help topic Personal Information (PI) Removal.
Storage Info tab removed from NetSuite Account Center
The Storage Info page has been removed from the NetSuite UI because Total Storage is no longer used as a metric for your Service Tier usage.
Change
Instead, users with the Administrator role or System Administrator role can check the File Cabinet storage
size or the number of monthly transaction lines the account uses. To check these metrics, go to Setup > Company > View Billing Information. Rescheduling Support for Sandbox Upgrades and
Development Account Moves to OCI
Customer-Scheduled Maintenance supports rescheduling for NetSuite Version Upgrade on all sandbox
accounts. It also now supports all development account moves to data centers built on OCI.
Remember, if you want to reschedule maintenance for your sandbox or development accounts, you will
need to log in to those accounts and visit the Customer-Scheduled Maintenance page in those accounts. Subscribe to a Specific Data Center from the NetSuite
Status Page
To receive email or phone updates that are published to the status page for your specific data center, click Subscribe to Updates and select the data center for which you want to receive incident reports. Sandbox After a Refresh
Scheduled scripts are account-specific. Scheduled scripts configured in production will no longer run
automatically in a sandbox account after a refresh. Instead, scheduled scripts can be set up separately in a sandbox account. For more information, see the help topic Features Available for Testing in a Sandbox.
